Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
These Terms govern your use of the FunZ Web Platform, which offers event ticketing and serves as a launchpad for accessing fintech services such as mobile payments, QR code transactions, address verification, and wallet services via the FunZ Mobile App.
2. Scope of Services
a. Web-Based Services
- Browse and purchase event tickets
- View booking history and receipts
- Initiate bill payment options (redirects to mobile app)
b. Mobile-Only Financial Services
Accessible via FunZ App, these include:
- QR Code Payments (1.5% service fee applies)
- Wallet-based fund transfers and savings
- Utility & telecom bill payments
3. Eligibility
Users must be:
- 18 years or older
- Legally able to enter binding agreements
- Possess a valid email and mobile number
4. Payments & Fees
- Ticket payments processed by third-party gateways
- QR-based or wallet payments require FunZ App login
- QR code transactions attract a 1.5% service fee
- All charges will be disclosed prior to final payment
5. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information
- Use the platform and fintech services lawfully
- Keep login credentials confidential
Misuse, including fraudulent transactions or KYC evasion, may result in account suspension or referral to legal authorities.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
- Event ticket refunds are governed by the event organizer's policy
- Fintech service reversals (e.g., failed transfers) follow Central Bank of Nigeria and MFB guidelines
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend access to services (web or app) for:
- Terms violation
- Suspicious or illegal activity
- Regulatory non-compliance
8. Intellectual Property
All content (text, code, design, media) is property of FunZ. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by first exploring the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mechanism of arbitration. Where the dispute(s) is not resolved via the ADR mechanism of arbitration, the dispute(s) shall be resolved by a competent court in the Federal Capital Territory.
